A wonderfully decorative pair of French parlour chairs dating to the early 1900s, upholstered in a beautiful soft green velvet with original fringe skirting detail. Elegant in shape with lovely deep seats, these pieces have all the charm and faded grandeur you would hope for from well-loved antiques.
The internal stuffing still retains a comfortable firmness, making them both practical and decorative. There is a small bleach mark present to one chair and some of the tassels are worn or missing in places, all consistent with age and gentle use.
A romantic pair that would work beautifully in a bedroom, sitting room or hallway corner.
